Fluttershy has a talk with Cheerilee about her son.

CHEERILEE: ...and as a result - broken tooth, plus nearly broken arm.
FLUTTERSHY: Oh... goodness! Sweeite, why did you do this? Hurting other ponies is awful.
SUMMER WIND: Mom, I'm... not sure. I'm sorry...
CHEERILEE: Don't get me wrong, Fluttershy, your son isn't some bully. I'd say he had a solid reason to get angry, and in fact it is good to see a colt who can stand for himself and defend mare's honour. (Fluttershy blushed a bit) But the serious problem here is that he cannot control his rage.
FLUTTERSHY: I recall him becoming angry before, but I couldn't even imagine that Summer Wind will hurt anypony! Especially little Rainfall - they have always been such good friends.
CHEERILEE: As I understand, Rainbow Dash doesn't know who has broken her daughter's tooth. I guess that's for the good, taking Dash's temper in the account. I don't want her to bash your son for this accident, she may even forbid him to approach Rainfall, and it doesn't look right to me.
FLUTTERSHY: But she may find out it sooner or later, and lying to Dash feels so wrong.
CHEERILEE: (sighs) I know. Still it is better not to rush the events. Right now we must make sure that something like this never happens again.
SUMMER WIND: Miss Cheerilee. Mom. I promise I will never raise my hoof on another pony.
CHEERILEE: It may casue other problems. It won't be good, if you never dare to confront other ponies because of fear of getting mad.
FLUTTERSHY: I used to have problems like that...
SUMMER WIND: (surprised) You, mom?!
FLUTTERSHY: Well... yes. I may tell you about some ways of controlling your rage.
CHEERILEE: (nods) It will also be good if Mac has some good talks with you, Summer Wind. Your father is strong, yet calm stallion, he can teach you a lot in this case. (her gaze becomes distant for a moment) Strong, strong... oh, he is strong indeed, in a more ways than one... (she lets out silly giggle)
FLUTTERSHY: (coughs tactfully)
CHEERILEE: (looks confused) Oh... hmm... sorry, I got distracted.
FLUTTERSHY: That's okay
CHEERILEE: Anyway, you got my message, Fluttershy. I've noticed Summer Wind's glushes of anger some time ago, and now I'm sure that it is a serious issue. You and Mac are the first ponies, who should take this into their hooves.

P.S. In my headcanon Cheerilee and Big McIntosh were in a relationship for some time, but broke up and remained just good friends. Sometimes it leads to silly awkward moments between her and Fluttershy Summer Wind is unaware of his father and his school teacher though.
